Blogs

A blog or web log is used by members to post articles. Multiple blogs can be created by members and will be maintained by their creators only, with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video.

All members are allowed to create as many blogs as they can maintain unless and until they are blocked by the administrator to do that. All these blogs will be interactive which means that others members can leave their comment and even messages.

You can control the blogs by the Blogs menu which has three parts, namely, List Of Blogs, Blog Categories and Blogs Report It

Blogs Report It

Sometimes people create blogs with objectionable title and offensive content & photographs. Blogs are also used (rather 'misused') to promote some websites, to increase the search engine rankings of some sites or to simply sell links/ads. These types of blogs are known as Spam Blogs.

These blogs waste valuable disk space and bandwidth as well as pollute search engine results. So, in order to stop these kinds of blogs, members of your website can 'Report It' the blog as spam, offensive, or with any other types.

As soon as they 'Report It', the request appears at this page where you can view the name of the blog, no. of reports submitted against it and some details about the report. Details of the report show names of the reporter and the type of reports they submitted. If the reports are authentic and blog is abusive in any way then you can choose to delete it.
