Sugar Inc., a leading online media and commerce company, today announced it has entered into an agreement to acquire San Francisco-based Circle of Moms, one of the largest social networks for moms and moms-to-be.
Originally launched on Facebook in 2008, Circle of Moms is the one of the largest and fastest-growing online community for moms. It connects over 6 million moms worldwide to share advice and support essential to the journey of motherhood. More than 13% of moms in the US are its members, and they attract 100,000 new moms every week.
The acquisition adds to Sugar’s powerful portfolio of brands, and further extends the company’s position as a leading global women’s lifestyle brand.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
